Oklahoma City University Prospective Student Day

Oklahoma City University is a coeducational, urban private United Methodist university located in Oklahoma City, in the Uptown district. The University offers a wide variety of degrees in the liberal arts, fine arts, sciences and business and scholarships to help students pursue the degree of their choice.  We have merit, departmental, and talent based scholarships for all students and additional scholarships for United Methodist students.  All United Methodist students are eligible for a $1,000 dollar scholarship.  We’re a Dollars for Scholars school which means that UM students could receive up to $4,000 through this program of the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation.  Each year, Oklahoma City University presents the Bishop’s Scholar Award to deserving students as a part of its effort to identify and support academically advanced United Methodist youth who are committed to a career in Christian service to the Church.  The Bishop’s Scholar Award is full tuition.  We also offer 50% tuition reduction to students who are dependents of conference appointed United Methodist pastors.  To learn more about becoming a Star, visit www.okcu.edu.

We’d like to invite prospective United Methodist students and their families to visit campus on Thursday, April 25th for United Methodist Visit Day, a visit day dedicated to our prospective UM students.  Visiting students will have the opportunity to tour campus, hear about the application process, eat lunch on campus, meet our religion faculty, and participate in a chapel service.  Contact us at 1-800.633.7242, ext. 2 or email us at visitocu@okcu.edu for more information.
