I am thrilled to be joining the Central Texas Conference staff as Specialist: Youth and Young Adults. Youth, college, and young adult ministry is an incredible passion and I couldn’t be more excited to join you in this vibrant ministry. I am also excited to be back in Texas! I spent the past two years in Slidell, Louisiana working with Epworth Project, the Disaster Recovery Ministry for the Louisiana Conference. I moved to Louisiana from Dallas after my husband and I were married on July 4th, 2009. We were married just a few short months after I graduated from Perkins School of Theology with my Master of Theological Studies. I received my bachelor degree from Southern Methodist University in Religious Studies and Psychology in 2004.
Prior to attending seminary, I worked in various youth ministry positions including full-time youth minister, part-time administrative assistant, Sunday school teacher, and youth counselor. My passions include education, holy conferencing, John Wesley, and the energy of young people.
I will work primarily with local churches to energize, resource, and equip youth and young adult ministries. It is my desire to come along side you to serve YOU as you serve your congregations. If your youth or young adult ministry is doing something awesome, I want to know! If your church is struggling to reach youth and young people, we can work together to reach this vital group.
I look forward to meeting you at Annual Conference or when I visit your CTCYM worksite! Please know that I am always available to troubleshoot, vision, and assist in any way possible. Feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone to schedule a time for me to come out and meet you.
