Day 17, May 14.
Lord, break our hearts for the poor so we may reach out and help them any way we can. Let us be your hands and feet throughout our communities. We want to care about the things you care for, let us see where the need is around us, in our schools, with our friends, and on the streets. Through our service, let us glorify your name, let those we help know that we are of you, let them know they are loved by you. Give us your eyes so we may love others the way you do. I pray that we never lose sight of you.
Romans 12: 9-13 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
